The 40th Annual Mule Day Festival in Winfield, Ala., begins tonight in earnest and runs through Sunday. The festival draws thousands of people from around the Southeast and features arts and crafts, a mule parade, A Civil War reenactment, a car show, live music, a flea market, antique tractors and dancing. The Governor of Alabama will make an appearance. For a full run down of the festival's attractions click here. In the meantime, enjoy this slideshow of photos I made today in Winfield.
