This past week the Moundville Native American Festival was held in Moundville, Ala. Thousands of visitors attended the festival to celebrate the Native heritage of the Southeast. The event featured the art, craft work, dance, lore and history of the Chickasaw, Choctaw, Cherokee, Creek and Seminole people. This is the first of a few photo galleries of pictures made on Saturday during the festival. Please check back for more galleries that will be posted later. Enjoy.
