On this day 200 years ago in Vienna, Austria Beethoven premiered his 7th Symphony at a charity concert for wounded soldiers. Beethoven himself conducted the piece that day and he described the 7th as his finest work. The second movement, the Allegretto, thrilled the audience so much that they called for an immediate encore. The entire piece is about forty minutes and can be found by clicking here. Below is 8 minutes and 19 seconds of the second movement along with a cool color-coded graph. Enjoy.
